- In stock items typically ship in 1-3 business days unless otherwise specified.
- Special order prints typically ship in 4-5 business days unless otherwise specified.
- For customized orders and commissions, the timeline depends on the medium chosen, the size of the art and existing workloads. Timelines will be quoted up front before booking.
Color Accuracy Disclaimer
Please note that while care is taken to ensure artwork colors are accurately portrayed in the photographs shown, due to inherent differences in individual computer screens and settings, there may be slight differences in appearance on actual art received.
How to Care for your Artwork
Charcoal, Colored Pencil and Watercolor on Paper Surfaces:
- Avoid touching the paper. Artwork on paper is typically sold framed, however, if you choose to change the frame, care should be taken to handle the paper by the edges, avoiding touching the actual image. This is to prevent finger oils from seeping into the paper and to prevent smudging on charcoal or colored pencil drawings.
- Avoid hanging artwork in direct sunlight. Although lightfast materials are used, direct sunlight can cause colors to fade over time.
- Avoid hanging in areas where the artwork can be exposed to extreme heat, cold or humidity. Such extremes can case the paper to buckle.
Paintings on Canvas
- Avoid hanging artwork in direct sunlight. Although lightfast materials are used, direct sunlight can cause colors to fade over time.
- Avoid hanging or storing artwork in areas of extreme heat, cold or humidity. Such extremes can cause the paint to become brittle or cause the stretcher bars or board to warp.
- Do not lean anything against the canvas. This can cause dents or tears in the canvas.
To clean a canvas, use a soft dry cloth.
Returns and Exchanges
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Personalized and/or customized goods are exempt from being returned unless the product arrives defective. Gift cards and digital products cannot be returned.

Please do not send your item back to the manufacturer if purchased from Fine Art America or other third party sources, unless otherwise directed.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
